My opinion:
I think that the only flavor you're really losing with 3 parts water is the ovewhelming anise which needs to be subdued anyway.
1 part Deva to at least 3 parts ICED water (no ice cubes in the glass unless you live in a trailer and are getting drunk with your sister/lover).
I'd also suggest a medium sugar cube. |

I prefer 1 part Deva 2 Parts Ice water as Elbongo does. No sugar whatsoever, "I'm already sweet enough"! You lose a lot of flavour if you go to 3 oz water.
Rimbauds method is also highly recommended, but not until your 4th glass when you start to see out the back of your head.... |

For storage should be as normal alchohol, just avoid high heat, I don't have deva 50 but I opted for the deva 70 which 1 part deva and 3 parts ice water with sugar was fine for me... rimbaud did hit on some things but you can decide which you would like to add to your ritual... to each his own . |

I prefer Deva 50 with 3 parts water, sweetened by a sugar cube, and a with a little less ice than Elbongo: 2 small cubes. I keep my bottles in the refrigerator, simply because I prefer my absinthe quite cold. Room temperature is fine, though. |

I just want to ask some of you how is your preferred method of drinking deva 50? This is my first try...also what is the best method of storage? I assume normal alcohol storage should do, but you never know.
Just trying to get some varying opinions is all.
