Well now that I'm completely sober- I still mean every word of it.
I've given thought to my reactions (or overreactions- depending on how you look at it), and I acted childish- thus deserving the 'frat boy' comment.
I still feel that trashing 'newbies' isn't really right- it makes them feel unaccepted and sad. (Probably much like watching a newborn puppy being hit by a car. Awww...)
But I understand our misunderstanding. I want to stand up and be proud and apologize.
So Rimbaud- whether I'm drunk or sober- I apologize. |

Amnesiac, I think you have pointed to a most important problem in this Forum.
We fight drunk, then we apologize sober. Therefore the apologies pale next to the fights, the latter being filled with Dyonisiac madness.
From now on, Amnesiac, I will make sure that I'm as stinking drunk when I apologize as when I fight.
Thanks for the enlightment.
It may get treacly, but it will be heartfelt. |

hey- do you like the author Chuck Palahniuk? He wrote Fight Club, Survivor, Choke, Invisible Monsters (and te forthcoming Lullaby.) He's good.
So is Bret Easton Ellis (American Psycho, Glamorama, Rules of Attraction, Informers, Less than Zero). Good books.
The movie Fight Club and American Psycho were good too man.
Maybe we have somthing in common. Maybe not.
But look- Im sorry. Iwant to be a better forum member. After tonight- no more drunken pposts. Sorry.
