Telling Laurana about Staticburst, Chev, didn't you feel like an "elder of the tribe"...LOL

Flirty, friendly, a bit unwashed, showed a photo of herself looking stoned with some thrasher that could have been Abraham Lincoln's zombie clone.

Of course, it turned out that she was a fabrication, a fiction, the creation of another troll called Staticburst. But that was a long time ago ...

Yes, Shasta Abbey is here in Mt. Shasta...only about 4 or 5 miles from where I live.

What kind of nasty troll?

Lauralanthalasa is a name from a fantasy series called Dragon Lance. The short version of the name is Laurana, if you're wondering. She's called the "Golden General" because she was in charge of the good dragons in the War of the Lance, if you understand any of that, I'll be surprised.

Nah- maybe she saw TimK's fancy smiley work and figured smiley faces were a good thing here.

Please tell me that your other name isn't Kristy. That smiley face gave me flashbacks ...

Wow smart one. :)

Ahhhh but Laurana doesn't know anything about privacy *evil grin*

I appreciate that though! Not many people respect privacy!

Yes, Lauralanthalasa, I realized that. But I never reveal stuff like that on the forum. I respect others' privacy.

Nice to see you found your way here!

Haha I dance naked all the time...without any absinthe. Maybe with the assistance of something else.... *evil grin*

I've only been on Shasta Lake once...all of my water skiing and stuff was done on McCloud Reservoir...much less crowded and it was quite smooth.

It had the texture of coke, but tasted like chocolate! SOOO trippy.

Just a question....are there ANY versions of Absinthe sold in the US?

There's a Shasta plant across the street from where I used to work in Hayward. (more appropriate place for it than Mt. Shasta). It reeks of artificial grape around there...

No, never had the chocolate. I've never had chocolate soda at all. I imagine it to taste like carbonated Yoo-Hoo...

My group of friends used to go houseboating on Lake Shasta every year, for about 10 years. We would rip all our clothes off, play loud disco music and dance naked on the top of the boat all weekend long.

Now we're all older and less prone to exposing our bodies. But who knows, we didn't have absinthe then!

I've heard rumors that it is made here...but seriously...I doubt it. We do bottle Crystal Geyser water and Dannon water. Our water is very famous. Have you ever had Shasta Chocolate soda? That stuff's trippy!

They don't make Shasta orange soda there, do they?

You come to the Mt. Shasta area often?
I'm sure tired of it!

Hey everyone...I'm new to this forum and I'm a new Absinthe follower. I became incredibly obsessed with Absinthe after watching Moulin Rouge. I wish I had heard of the drink before.

I currently live in the US, but I'll be going to the UK for college next year, so drinking Absinthe (the REAL stuff...none of the imitation) will be awesome!

Hope to enjoy this forum...
