If you do decide to fly to NYC, from any airport, Newark included, for about $15 you can take the shuttle bus into NYC. It stops at both Grand Central Station (East side of town) and Port Authority (west side). From there you can either get a taxi, or the subway. Piece of cake. I have had people who dont even speak English manage it. |

If you fly in, be aware that the cab fare into Manhattan isn't cheap. Flat rate from JFK to Manhattan is $35.00. It's been my experience that typical metered fares from LGA to Manhattan (Grammercy area) are about $25.00.
It's been a while since I've traveled by air, so YMMV. |

I don't care who crashes on the couch/chair/tub/floor/table on Fest night, but please find a joint for Sunday on. A jockey needs some room for his NYC friends to come party w/the Liver.
The roofgarden joint is not available. The option they sent is 27 floors above Union Square, which is cool as shit, but it has a doorman. This means that discresion, and perhaps a bribe are in order. |

crow-man, you can also check out expedia.com if priceline doesn't work out, i thought about training it in but i still like the feeling of flight. if you do fly in, LGA or JFK will be more expensive look at newark( depending on different times of departure you could save $50 or more) and take a shuttle or cab in town. |
