My understanding is that the cost of vintage absinthe varries alot in functions of the state of the bottle, label, seal, cork and of course the way you acquire it. We have seen some vintage absinthes sold on ebay bellow 2000$ I guess that a full bottle with a nice Pernod label could fetch such a price.

I wish I knew. First, you have to find a bottle! They don't seem to be common.

oh wow, 1950's, so maybe that's easier to acquire? I've heard $2000 a bottle. Is this accurate or should it be less?

yeah, Pernod set up shop in Spain after the ban and made Pernod Tarragonna and supposedly Tarragona is the shiznit. I think they made it till the early 30's but maybe my history is wrong.
