I have a great idea show someone drinking it in a cafe and use the slogan "it's healthy". Someone already did that, oh nevermind. |

There's an absinthe of nutrition in the drink. In other words, nutrition is absinthe from it. (It's hard to resist being punny.) |

Because, of course, malnutrition is God's way of punishing alcoholics for being bad people. ;) |

A logical idea, BJ, and one that will NEVER, EVER, EVER fly. We wouldn't want to "encourage" winos to drink by telling them they are getting vitamins, carbos and proteins in their Thunderbird, would we? That may prod them into the path of alcoholism... Remember that in the U.S. you can sell stevia as a "nutritional supplement", as long as you don't mention that it's a sweetener... |

I once had an idea to make nutritionally-fortified alcoholic beverages so that alcoholics wouldn't end up quite so malnourished. Of course, American culture tends to be of the opinion that harm-reduction is tanamount to encouragement, and getting the nutrients in a form that wouldn't get leeched out by the alcohol might be tricky... |

It's true! Semen is the elixir of youth. My vagina looks much younger than the rest of my body. |

Here's something that popped into my head for no apparent reason: does absinthe have any sort of nutritive (non-caloric) value? Surely all of these herbs must add something, or is it all stripped away by the distillation and the alcohol? Why am I even asking this? |
