I was reading a Scientific Journal recently I think it was called New Scientist (its from the UK). In it was a review of a new book about absinthe I have never heard of. Its called "The Dedalus Book of Absinthe" by Phil Baker, ISBN 1873982941.
It sounded pretty good and factual just the right mix of science and hysteria.
I can't find it yet in the USA, so I got my copy from Amazon.UK and it cost me about 10 Pounds.
Any subsribers to the forum in the UK read a copy of it yet and care to comment on weather I've just tossed 10 quid down a rathole or not. |
