Just wanted to let you guys know - while I was out of the office so I have not yet been able to sample the wares - my Serpis and Mari Mayans arrived on Friday.

I'm glad you got your order have fun. Did you order through SC or someone else? It just seems a bit ridiculus that it has been 7 weeks and all I keep hearing is " wait a few more days ". While I want the stuff I'm half tempted to call Am-Ex and contest the charge. No wonder Spain hasn't been a world power for the last few hundred years.

If anyone's interested to know, I just got a shipment last night that took over 5 weeks to get here. It was a fairly large shipment, which could explain it. The packages arrived in perfect shape, and I'm very happy today (if a bit groggy, after being up until 3am performing some "quality assurance" on the shipment).

Has anyone had trouble with PayPal? I have read about many cases of fraud with PayPal. They hold the money and in some cased don't pay the receiver. This may be a reason for delays.
Although, I wouldn't know, I have since used other means of payment such as money order or even check.

Thanks Nascentvirion I received something along the same lines. I was just wondering when SC decides the shipment is a write off. I'll just keep waiting - its no big hurry.
This guy Markus everyone keeps mentioning - is he the guy in Germany? I'd like to try him - the shipping costs don't seem that much more than SC. The people inside the U.S. appear to be in gross violation of U.S. import regs so I'd just as soon avoid dealing with them.

Library guy... Here is the letter she sent to me when mine was lost.
Thank you for informing me about this delay, but this can happen in some
cases. The Spanish post does not provide any tracking number, so that we
cannot know the situation of the order. Please be so kind as to wait some
more days, as we have to wait four weeks after the day of delivery to be
able to present any reclamation at the post.
Thank you very much for your patience and help in this matter.

I know, that's why I'm *waiting* for the review instead of reading a half dozen saying "We have FOUND the HOLY GREEN GRAIL! PRAISE be to RUDI!" or "Nasty Sebor Strong, step aside, there's a new cat piss in town!" or "The 'Hill's' are alive, and migrating to Emile 68 . . . Wow, it cuts grease and doesn't streak . . ." or "Ehhh, it's OK."
I'm hoping for (and really expecting) reviews in the middle ground between the first and the last of these, but in no way reminiscent of the second or third!

I emailed Cristina, she informs me that they have to wait a certain period (she did not specify) before they can claim to the Spanish post that a package is lost. If that period (which she did not specify) is reached, she tells me that they will replace the lost order.
