Dang, I'm gonna miss a Pikkle-abusing Betty Page lookalike?

This will require not photos, but VIDEO! :)

Actually my daughter hosted the NYC absinthe tasting that I organized 3 years ago.
She's a beautiful Betty Page look-a-like with a
big tattoo on her left thigh that says
"MAN'S RUIN". She gets a kick out of inflicting intense pain on little weasels like Bunny and pikkle.

I was going to suggest that my daughter attend the tasting. On second thought...

That depends on how much the hookers and the midget on the Shetland pony will charge

Don't forget to bring little one-ounce bottles, so you can send SAMPLES to all the less-fortunate types as well!

<-- 4 pm and no knock knock on my door yet . . . looks like there won't be any Brown Fairy e68 for me today, either! *sniff*

Someone bring a digital camera...It would be cool to get some candid shots to show the less fortunate folks, like myself.

Rudy's Bar and Grill

Neighborhood: Hell's Kitchen
627 9th Ave. (W 44th St. & W 45th St.)
Subway: A,C,E @ 42 St Port Authority Bus Terminal
212-974-9169
Average price: Drafts run about $4 apiece, and pitchers are a good value. Bottles for $3-$4.
Description: It's a dive. We're not saying that to be mean, that's what they're trying for. We find it a little disingenuous to run a bar as a dive on purpose, but at least they have the beer prices to back up the put-on. It's always smoky and smells of spilled beer and hot dogs, and the bar and tables tend to get sticky. Some say it's a great scene for meeting people, but once we get a few beers in us and start muttering about our failed lives, the swinging singles usually give us plenty of space. By far, the best feature of this place is the free hot dogs. Buy anything (even a coke, according to the bartender), and they'll give you a crummy convenience store-quality hot dog on a white bun with a bit of mustard. During the summer, check out the back-alley "garden." The neighbors hate the noise, but luckily, you don't have to live there, you're just visiting.
