First impression, this absinthe is totally different from all commercially available products on the market today.

Second impression, this absinthe is very close to the best HG absinthes.

EP 68 is a very light, delicate, aromatic liquor, sweet enough to be consumed without sugar, but as usual (for good products only) a small amount supports the texture.
There is no bitterness and not even a hint of nastiness.
Not extremely complex, but all flavours are well balanced, for sure there is NO star-anise involved, I´m quite sure there is some coriander in it, and also some veronica.
Maybe traces of angelica, but I´m not sure about that.

The product I sampled seemed to be very young,
I´m absolutely sure that the scent will strongly
benefit from some weeks of aging, again there
were strong reminiscences to HG.

EP 68 is not the best absinthe I´ve ever tried,
but YES, it is imho the best product commercially
available on the market today.
