When I'm in the mood for a non-absinthe drink, I personally like a Tanqueray martini, extra dry, a little dirty, up...(BTW, I keep my gin, etc. in the freezer).

Oh yea, Gin and tonic - Tanqueray that is, worryingly I quite like it neat, and my Gin and Tonics are usually 50/50.

Laphroaig always goes down well, or how about some Havana Club Anejo Reserva, I cant get enough of the stuff.

Saturday morning... the absinthe world is still in dream. Here I sit in a darkened house, glass in hand soon to join the journey to the other side of the day yet when I awake, I'll have gotten no where. Such is the curse of the graveyard shift... at least I have my milky green to make the trip more interesting.
