I did score a metal mini-fountain for $14.50 a couple of months ago. For what I got, it was a good deal. It's a single-spigot fountain that looks real nice. Authentic? Antique? No, probably not, but it does the job, and doesn't leave an aftertaste in the water. |

Hell Yea, they were begging for it. You haven't lived until you have had two at the same time. |

I haven't scored a "great" deal on anything yet. I did get a nice Lyonnaise and a very unique East glass, back to back for about 25$ each. Don't remember if they were on "buy it know" as soon as they went up, or the seller just didn't give any details on the glasses except they were "absinthe glasses". Someone could put a pint glass on Ebay, say it is a rare vintage "absinthe pintarliar" glass and it will get a lot more bids than an actual vintage glass without a good description. Oh yeah, and working on the Friday after Thanksgiving sucks ass. |

"Ordering several bottles from Wolvie, and still not having shit to show for it..." Yup. Best burnings ever. Haven't heard a word. |

I don't know what's scarier - the auction item, or the fact that the price is up to $17.50 |

I would like to hear from the more experienced collectors about your greatest Absinthe related purchase or failure. e.g. Cordon glass picked up at a flea market for $1.25 , or Buying a saucer online for $50. only to discover it was a coffee saucer from Shoney's and the price was put on it about a week before with a sharpie. |
