Zman7, sorry about that, I found the emails buried in my inbox. I'll blame Peter for opening them first. I'll reply this weekend.

I concur with Wolf, the Sapin is very nice, however it does still have that slight fishy smell, though to a much lesser degree than my previous purchase. Ian, I sent you a couple of emails with no reply. Maybe my server is goofed.

Congratulations. The Emile Sapin is very nice. Better than the regular. It still have this typical fishy ''Emile`s'' smell because it`s still a very young absinthe. I will try to forget what`s left in the bottle for 2-3 months, I`m sure only then it will show it`s full potential.

Incredible, incredible job, guys! Happy holidays!!!

And it's better than regular Emile! Please don't make this a "Limited Edition." Keep it flowing!

I think that part of my indecision is a result of being to drunk to remember the details of my last bottle of Un Emile.

you lucky bastards i just got mine today, one of the disadvantages of living in bummphuck... it smells really good though. i'll be pouring some a little later when i sit down to watch "fellowship of the ring" again. later this weekend i'll do a side by side of the two to pick my favorite. i have the feeling ian might have to be making another batch... i believe the first was too small!

Ally Kmus,
C'mon, make a choice. Don't be wishy-washy. Make a stand. Shit or get off the pot. Not to decide is to decide.

I received my two bottles of Sapin on Tuesday. I am un-sure what I prefer, the regular Emile or this.

Something's in the air ... could it be wafting in from Thailand? Will "Sapin" have some company?

I've actually been having fun being back. And with the stuff today about absinthe history, I'm learning a lot too. Mebbe I need to throw another party. If, I said IF I do, it'd be in like March/April-ish.

Louchie Liverie dear.. I will vow to ONE DAY get to a forum get-together.. Life is finally settling down into some sort of predictable situation.. (until the next disaster comes about).

I know my track record sucks so far.. but maybe.. perhaps.. I should just plain have a gathering HERE..

There's plenty of room and three bathrooms to barf in if we partake too much...

Mine arrived at 1PM today, which means it took one-and-a-half business days to get here. Spectacular service.

I'll also add my voice to the songs of praise. Un Emile Sapin is delicious.
