I concur with Wolf, the Sapin is very nice, however it does still have that slight fishy smell, though to a much lesser degree than my previous purchase. Ian, I sent you a couple of emails with no reply. Maybe my server is goofed. |

Congratulations. The Emile Sapin is very nice. Better than the regular. It still have this typical fishy ''Emile`s'' smell because it`s still a very young absinthe. I will try to forget what`s left in the bottle for 2-3 months, I`m sure only then it will show it`s full potential. |

you lucky bastards i just got mine today, one of the disadvantages of living in bummphuck... it smells really good though. i'll be pouring some a little later when i sit down to watch "fellowship of the ring" again. later this weekend i'll do a side by side of the two to pick my favorite. i have the feeling ian might have to be making another batch... i believe the first was too small! |
