Hey, olive pate is great! Just mix one or two teaspoons with spaghetti. You'll love it!

The F. Guy herbs were used for a mailing to my german cutomers... I've still a bit left...

Markus,

Das ist ein sehr interesantes gift geschenk. Wie so hast du krautern aus Francois Guy?

You'll have to excuse my German spelling and grammar, I left Germany when I was five.

Anyway it would be interesting to see the quality of the herbs FG uses.

The folks at Nice Art sent me a nice olive pate as a gift for my order. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the gift. I just don't know what to do with it. I tried it on a saltine with some brie. I may try it on some pork rinds next. Talk about clash of cultures.

Anyway what I'm trying to say is it's a fun experience on both sides when ordering internationally.

Well, I could offer something really special to all customers who are interested in:

Some orginal Francois Guy herbs (wormwood and Anis).

Would that be something? For shure you've got to place an order to receive this "gift" :-)))
(Isn't it funny that gift means poison in german...)

Markus

P.S.: 93% of all international customers are really a pleasure to work with! There's hardly any German responding, if he's satisfied (or not) with the goods and the service - that's completely different with you. Thanks for giving me this little extra motivation.

Before anyone starts talking bias on Markus' part let me get my 2 cents in. I recall when we were all talking about Nice Art and their prices for absinthe and the fountains. Markus responded by lowering HIS fountain prices!

I wish we had more buiness people with his ethics and responsiveness!

Man, they weren't able to pay a couple of spoons a while ago - how should they pay for about 80 different sorts. This is pure phantasy!
I've talked to others who met this man... I don't judge a book by its cover, but.... ok I better say no more now!!

Do you mean that they operate without actually stocking anything (like Amazon.com), or that they're scam artists?

You will find out, that the only thing they really carry is this list.

Others have described them as very bad, in the case of Zelena, "possibly dangerous".

What's the deal with Partus and Zelena Musa? Are they good?
Perruche_Verte
Posted on Saturday, September 28, 2002 - 12:01 pm:   Edit PostPrint Post

They say that international shipping is "coming soon". The absinthes with the single star are supposed to be available as of October 2002.

I hope they ship small orders. I'd love to try the Larsand.

And on the other hand, they stock both Partus (apparently still being made) and (Delis) Zelena Musa...

I wonder who actually drinks some of these, and how many bottles are produced a year.

Damn...Some pretty nice prices and the shipping is, um, real cheap. What's the catch? Do they ship to U.S.? Has anyone ever received "products" without a problem from Absinthemonde?

"Rancho's" is a misspelling. It is actually "Pancho's".

What is the source of this particular list?

"Un Emile" isn't on the list, but just about everything else is. There are many absinthes here that I've never heard of. ("Rancho's", anyone? "1924"?) The country-specific list is organized by brand name, % of alcohol, vol. in liters, and price in Euros.
