The absinthe concentrates, when used properly, are amazingly like the typical Spanish fare. Not great, not bad, only mediocre. The alcohol you use is of great importance. If you use only 80 proof vodka, you will be disappointed. If you were to use a base alcohol of at least 55%, the concentrates are very close to Deva. More than likely, these concentrates are the same ones used by many absinthe "manufacturers." |

Anyone sampled the Absinthe concentrate that is floating around? I've gathered that some of the lesser commercial brands are produced in a similar fashion. Is there any merit to it? |
