But there is joyous celebrations for Californias acquisition of a Cranium.

- blessings upon you both.

As in I put them up in the mooneyhon suite at the local hostel, but they didn't know beforehand that the room is wired for sound and video, AND I have an arrangement with the owner for access to the tapes.

Under the threat of publishing the video on the Internet, a la the "Hot Wet Wife" of National Lampoon's European Vacation, the happy couple are now my slaves. Fortunately for them, I'm not very demanding. Where's my monthly bottle of 1905 Pernod, Head? Best not be late ....

"And Artemis was indeed the several time host to our love,"

Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmmm ....

"He is, I do not doubt, the best cajun grub cook this side of the Mississippi."

No, but I do a few things well. Anyway, one time you had Kentucky pulled pork, but there's a learning curve involved in that too.

"Or, uh ... which side you on again?"

Truth, justice, and the American way.

"Currently only ministers who obtain a waiver from a judge can perform ''quickie weddings."

It's actually the participants who have to petition the judge for the waiver. The marriage license won't be issued without it. Without the license, the minister isn't supposed to perform the rites. I know this because I have been there, done that. Had to get married quickly in Louisiana once.

Has the Happy couple heard of this one yet?

La. House OKs quickie weddings for visitors to New Orleans

By KEVIN McGILL
ASSOCIATED PRESS

BATON ROUGE, La., June 5 The state that originated a go-slow approach to weddings in the form of covenant marriages is about to step on the accelerator.
Seeking to boost tourism, the state House voted 70-23 Thursday to let out-of-staters get married in New Orleans without the normal three-day waiting period.
Currently only ministers who obtain a waiver from a judge can perform ''quickie weddings.'' But anyone authorized to perform a marriage will be able to do so under the bill. The legislation must be approved by the Senate, which endorsed an earlier version, and Gov. Mike Foster.
''We're trying to make New Orleans a destination place like Bermuda is or like Las Vegas is,'' explained state Rep. Mitch Landrieu arguing for the bill on the House floor.
Opposition from conservatives abated with amendments that limited quickie weddings to non-Louisiana residents.
Supporters of the bill even include Rep. Tony Perkins, the author of the nation's first covenant marriage law. Covenant marriages, which are an option in Louisiana, Arizona and Arkansas, require pre-wedding counseling on the seriousness of the marriage commitment and make divorces more difficult to get.
''I would rather see Louisiana recognized as a destination for marriage rather than a destination for divorce,'' Perkins said in a recent interview.
Roughly half of U.S. states have waiting periods for marriage.

You guys all ROCK!

And it's nice to see the happy news bringing old friends outa the woodwork.

We're thinkin' ... sooner rather than later. And an Elvis impersonator. Which means Vegas.

HOWEVER ... We will be holding an engagement party on Bastille Day (or the day before) on July 13th in Golden Gate Park. Woooo! Severed heads included. Er, except Head's. I get to keep his intact.

I will post an RSVP and specifics will be emailed to attendees privately.

And Artemis was indeed the several time host to our love, and the most gracious host ever. He is, I do not doubt, the best cajun grub cook this side of the Mississippi. Or, uh ... which side you on again?

Thanks again to all, and if all the rest of my endeavors here were to go up in flames, or drive off Hwy 1 into the ocean at Devil's Slide, I would still have this: my sweet, sweet Head.

AAAAAAaaaahhhhhhh!

happy.

"... but is all this "true true" as in not "false true"!?"

It's probably the truest thing that's ever happened here.

Head is real; I've basked in the glow of his Mona Lisa smile and cooked pancakes for him.

The lovefest is real. When Head first hit it off with Kallisti I suffered many a gooey email from the enamored boy, all disgustingly raving about it. And then no email at all from him, once he turned his attention totally west. And then he turned his feet that way as well.

And this is the true story of the going forth of Woofie Bonderosi, as he cast his seed upon the water and his dice upon the table and saw that it was all good, and that his pigeons would finally come home to roost. Or maybe not, but you don't know until you try.
