One of my favorite games is "On The Left, On The Right", where I put the front pages of the Washington Post and the Washington Times next to each other. One year, during an AIDS march, it went something like:
Left: "Marchers Mourn Loss, Call For Research"
Right: "AIDS March Snarls Traffic"
It was also entertaining during Blowjobgate...
Even the left-leaning media in the US are right-of-center, generally speaking, but that is indicative of our political spectrum overall. More prevalent than any political bias is a tendency towards sensationalism and over-simplification.

I'll take Mark Morford over Ann Coulter any and every day but when even the daily reporting sounds like a heavy handed party line spoof, even I get sick of my normal news sources.
