OK, out of sheer unadulterated boredom I was playing around with the online Rhyming Dictionary a minute ago (www.rhymezone.com), and qu'elle surprise, no perfect rhymes for absinthe came up...
However, something called 'lad's love' came up in the definitions section:

I Googled it, and turns out it's an alternative name for Southernwood that I'd never heard of. Sounds like something you'd hear in a Carry On film.
