That exactly is why I changed my whole system. I think it was not fair to say 1 bottle or 3 bottles cost this or that shipping fee. Imagine a 0.5 litre bottle of La Blanche and a 1.0 litre bottles of Segarra. I'm charged on weight, so I think my customers should be charged the same way. I know your next question: Why is there no information of the weight of each bottle on your site? Mind the packaging... It makes quite some difference if it's a 6er box or a 3er box. That's why! 7 kg are roughly 3 bottles (1 litre) + packaging. Markus www.Absinthe-Distribution.com |

Marcus is the man. I have NEVER had any problems w/him. Also excellent are Spirits Corner and Liquors De France. With these three you WILL NOT go wrong!

And I think you are reading the Spiritscorner page wrong, Raindog, at least if you are in the US. The shipping for Airmail for 3 bottles is 77.48 Euros, or about $88. Generally, you end up paying as much for shipping as for the absinthe, but not more. |

Spirits Corner factors in the amount of broken bottles and lost-in-transit orders they get. They do have one of the easiest replacement policies out there - just get some friends to split the costs of shipping with. Beats domestic providers hands down. I haven't tried Markus (McLion) at http://www.lafeeverte.de/ yet but people speak highly of his service. Rock over London, Rock on Chicago. Pontiac - We build Excitement. |

Hello all. I have been searching the web for a quality supplier whose shipping is actually less than the product being ordered. For example, spirits corner quoted around $150 to ship three bottles with a total worth of $73. This is not acceptable, I have shipped abroad on many occasions and the cost was nowhere near this. Am I reading something wrong or are these folks trying to pad their accounts? "I'm standing on the corner of fifth and vermouth... using parking meters as walking sticks" Tom Waits |
