Yeah, you're off the hook, even though your car was shakin' the fountains from 2 states away. Hi, what're ya havin'? |

"What's to (the) person below the fountain doing?" I think that was DrinkSlinger examining for certain "Louche-properties"... |

Those are Francois Guy fountains, which Spiritscorner doesn't sell. They do sell a plainer looking Versinthe fountain though. -------------------------------------------------- Gretchen--"Donnie Darko, sounds like some kind of superhero or something" Donnie--"What makes you think I'm not?" |

I was just thinking a little sugar might have cut down on the sharpness a little, which I attribute to the fact that it's a young sample and hasn't had time to mellow yet. Then again, I always take my abs with sugar, so I'm not used to drinking it without. If I'd had it with sugar, I probably would've been able to compare it with other stuff more easily & been able to form a better opinion. Actually, now I'm very interested in trying it again in the usual sugared manner. "Please pardon our appearance while we are levitating..." |

Still, that louche could use some "thickening", as quite a few of us at LF '03 noted. I did think the taste was interesting, though. I forgot to use sugar, so maybe I'll like it more with a cube or two. Cheers to LdF for the sample!! "Please pardon our appearance while we are levitating..." |

... tastes wonderful! A bit of a departure from their other three. I just had a wonderful opportunity to sample a couple of different vintage Pernod... '30's - 50's. This new LDF had some 'similar' characteristics... hard to pinpoint though. Nice color, 'earthy' in color but very smooth! LDF Sapin was my favorite. Was. This new LDF which should be available by December will now be my 'Commercial' of choice!
