Guys, will you stop jerking off?

I said it: I make the worst absinthe in the world.

Period.

Now you all go and get a life, uh?

I thought O's gift to me, for
all intents and purposes, was
good real Absinthe. Herbal and
earthy (not muddy or dirty) but
Surprisingly bitter. What the
hell did I know? OR better yet
DO I know?

I was just grateful someone was
kind enough to send me a sample
without my solicitation. I also
sent half of it along to Vera
mainly to share the love so to
speak.

Marc, I'm gonna return to your gift
right now. Gonna get my early Friday
"nut" on and report back to you.

Regarding homebrews - I've tried many. Most have been okay, some have been horrible, a couple have been divine. I am no expert on absinthe. I know what I like. I did not like Ordinaire's concoction. But, I was genuinely open to the possibility that, considering my limited experience with homebrew and my complete lack of experience of vintage absinthe, Ordinaire's creation could be close to what authentic absinthe actually might be like. Afterall, he was an expert. It was hard to believe that anyone would enjoy something so extremely bitter, but with sugar it was tolerable. I had a similar experience with a homebrew from a California winemaker. So, I had not closed the book on Ordinaire's creation. It was intended as a gift for a gathering so I passed it on to Louche and the NYC Gathering. If the gang in New York had positive responses to Ordinaire's beverage, I would have been pleased. Really. No one wants to tell a gift giver that their gift sucks. In fact, I would have said nothing if Ordinaire hadn't been so assaultive toward Ted and so boastfully arrogant about his own absinthe making genuis. Ordinaire was asking for it, so I was brutally honest in describing his swill.

Sad thing about all this is that when I received Ordinaire's gift I was impressed by his generosity
and thoughtfulness. The brew was nicely bottled and there was a good quantity of it.

Thats my final word on the subject

head,

what did you think of the green gift I gave to you and yours? Was it decent?

Ditto.

Personal differences that had nothing to do with the product aside, the Jade people haven't "fucked" me. I never paid them a cent and have no reason to expect anything from them.

"Arty, I appreciate (really) your olive branch."

I never considered myself at war with you. If you too think I was speaking of you with regard to things said in another forum; be advised that the only thing you said there (if it was even you who said it) with which I took issue was that Marc was serious about the Jade people being liars; I could tell he wasn't serious. That, and I thought the implication that Marc somehow doctored your stuff was absurd.

FWIW, I could have prevented the whole debacle. Marc offered to send that bottle of yours to me; when I declined, he sent it to New York instead. I wish now I had taken him up on it.

Head, I bet I know what it is you're drinking.

I haven't been "fucked in the ass hard" by Jade.
They haven't ripped me off. In fact,I received a free sample from them. Again, I'm only disappointed in the lack of communication coming from the company.

Ordinaire, your concept of getting "fucked hard" is probably based on your own experience of what "hard" is.
