You won't think all this is so funny, when you're LIVING IN YOUR CAR DOWN BY THE RIVER!

"MOST posh"

That's funny!

Reminds of that old Saturday Night Live skit taking off on a game show, "Que y mas macho"? Or something like that. Hosted by Bill Murray in bad Spanish.

The contestants had to choose from the likes of Ricky Ricardo, Ricardo Montalban, etc.

Perhaps they're just there to show us how deluxe this product is, by relation to their fancy clear-plastic container with elasticized metallic bow? After all, in the supermarket, that is a clear indication that the product contained is MOST posh.

Here's what I see in that (very attractive) picture, all kidding aside. I see "BUY THIS PRODUCT!"

I see a green liquid in a glass that may or may not be absinthe, but they want you to think it is.
The bottle probably contains more of said liquid. The things that appear to be candies apparently have some relationship to the other things in the picture. We can guess that they contain some of the liquid which may or may not be absinthe. But I'd probably eat at least one, also. Maybe taste the stuff in the glass. Whether I'd finish it is another story.

Objectively and without sarcasm, but with my anti-bullshit ray instantly focused on all advertising,
A.

It would be interesting to see a graph of the number of commercial absinthes in the market for the, say, life of the Forum (five years).

Is it my impression or the curve is positively logarithmic?

"those are obviously white-chocolate absinthe truffles"

Of course. And that's obviously absinthe in the bottle, too, because the word "absinthe" is on the label. I don't know what came over me, thinking they were actually golf balls.

I think those are white-chocolate-covered balls of stuff. As I understand it, the traditional absinthe "ritual" involves spearing a piece of candy on a fondue fork, dipping it in the absinthe, then lighting it afire and letting it slowly melt and drip into the glass.

It's a mal fleur indeed that can turn a liquid that green.

And what's up with the golf balls?

Admin typically receives a gratis unasked-for bottle of neu stuff such as this. Those bottles used to languish on the shelf, but I suspect those days are over. The languishing, I mean.

Worse.

First you have NEU. Then when people realize how bad NEU sucks, they bring out NEU & Improved!

Oh... well that explains it then!

So is Neu better or worse than Neu & improved?
