Besides the actual spigot, would one be that hard to make? And does anyone know where one could get a small spigot that would work well?

Maybe the "rats" chose not to associate with passive-aggressive liars.

The one drawback to the "old sink approach", is that you will have these guys hanging around all day wanting a drink.

Salvage yards are your best bet.

Collect kitchen sinks-They're cheaper, and very, very rarely break during shipping. Also, they are readily available in the land of the frozen beaver.

Oh, I agree wholeheartedly on 4. It seems to make absinthe and all other anis liqueurs taste better - even wretched old Pernod, which I am sullenly drinking right now.

4. Wrong.
3. Your option.
2. Haven't tried, can't comment.
1. Works, cheap, universal (well, to any absinthe drinkers, I'd wager. Corn squeezin's drinkers may be another matter.

Options:

1. Sink
2. Bottle with spigot
3. Bite the bullet and pay the shipping.
4. Deny vigorously that a fountain produces any benefit at all.

George,

You can't get around the high shipping price. If you buy from US or Canada, you will just be buying from someone who has already paid the high shipping price from Europe and will pass that along to you!

There are not many sellers of fountains in the US because not only do you have to pay the high shipping cost, but the risk of breakage is very high.
