Just my 2 cents.

So you like green and chat, what else is new?

hey, I'm just trying to make it easy on the eyes and match the rest of the site.

btw - the sand color has always been there, I didn't like the pale greys ... these were warmer.

hit the "float" button either from login, or from the chat room. that'll open a new window and you can go back to forum surfing while you chat.

and yeah, I found it a little buggy if you try to un-float or something too quickly.

let me know if you have any problems with it.

maybe have the chat pop up in new window? or was that buggy? opening chat and trying to do anything back in the forum closes chat for meh.

hrm. also the way colors are at the moment, the grey links tend to blend too much since read/followed links are black. mebee switch it? followed lighter than new? or just a diff color mebee

I' m with you on that!

I think this is probably more or less what I'll go for, aside from a little tweaking.

I'll wait to update the archives ... they take forever.

I like this color scheme. The orange and black looks good and it's easier on the eyes for reading.

thanks for the encouragement!

ok, so the new bright greens look great on a 21" monitor running xp, but suck ass on my tiny mac at home.

I like the buttons, but will probably take the bars down to a darker green and black.

bah.

er, it's a little buggy if you try and switch windows, making it pop up and then dock again in the window.

it keeps crashing IE. be gentle with it til I figger out how it best works

as you can see, I'm playing with the forum colors.

weee!

ignore me. it'll probably change a dozen more times in the next week.

but I did add a chat button to the header. this is the free trial version that does not have any userid controls.

so its a free for all.

go at it.

if it becomes seriously abused, I'll pull it until I decide whether to register the software or not.
