Dammit.

I have a cold cathode light at work with funny instructions such as "Do not disassemble arbitrarily without professionals."

So if I have no other choice, I can disassemble it without a professional?

There's more to it than that, but that's the only one that really sticks out.

And another product proclaims "made in Japan quality."

And the techs at our service depot...sweet Christ...I won't get into that.

They do have a funny-ass Ritual Page:

"Drinking rituals of Absinthe
Beside the different cocktail recipes, in earlier days Absinthe had been sugared and diluted with water due to its bitterness. This resulted the typical cloudness. There were and are very beautiful ways of celebrating this preparation, which we would like to show and explain to you on the following pages:

Fire rituals
Reservoir
Brouille
Les Cuillères
(We don't want to describe the popular classical ritual with ice water and Absinthe spoon ( in fact without fire), because in our opinion everyone should be aware of this already. Reservoir and Brouille e.g. are particular variants of this preparation.

We won't go into daft fad like vacuum-drinking, as this has nothing in common with the pleasure of Absinthe, but discredits the Absinthe again. These ideas come from people for people who like playing with deodorant and abuse the gas (those who are doing this, know what is meant)."

"In the 20th century, the time when the Italians rather enjoy a glass of TABU Absinth RED than their women"

He must be speaking about the mustachio'd ones.

I love the german to english translator

Absente is pale green and accepts a milk-industrial union-green turbidity, if he is filled up with water. It contains sweet wood, so that the taste is penetrated by anise and wermut of intensive sweet ones.
