Lo and behold, there is a rather quaint cigar shop at the location of the gathering, and they stay open late.

I'll be there and I smoke cigars (with or without absinthe). So, maybe we can have a little cigar smoking session, see ya there.

Yes, the absinthe must come first, but once we've copped the non-existent "absinthe buzz" from the mythical "secondary effects", a cigar may provide some diversion ...

I've been known to indulge from time to time (yeah, a chick who smokes stoggies...)
I may partake with you Artemis, but I'd be concerned about cigar flavor interferring with my taste buds, which I want in 'top form' for the tasting.
