Quite honestly, you would probably have to buy quite a few bottles and at $30-$40 each from what I understand, plus shipping thats quite expensive - I would wait for Ted's efforts personally, despite any opinions I aired, I still think it will be the best thing to happen to absinthe in a long time, and probably the best absinthe since Nestle took over lol : 0 )

"La Bleue" pastis has been made for a loooong time. I have heard it is not very good, just like other run of the mill stuff. There is a picture of a mingnonette in a catalog some forum members have from back in the day...
I tried getting some of this stuff last year...the wrote back once and communication fell apart. Guess they don't want to deal with sending alcohol out of the country. I suppose I understand however....

Speaking of LaBleue (the one that is really Absinthe, and Swiss), does anyone have a contact for ordering at a reasonable price ?

They claim that "The brand name itself "La Bleue" was registered in 1939"
- Who registered the brand name? The Swiss, or Lemercier?
They also say that "ever since this time ['39], we have continued to produce "La Bleue" as in bygone days."
- So this isn't new, is it?
But at least they clearly state it is Pastis and not Absinthe.
