This is for all the Australian Absintheurs out there. It seems Absinthe is legal to import into the country for PERSONAL USE, but not for commercial sale, and it must be under 10mg thujone/1ltr. Myself and two friends have been scouring the food and beverage code for loopholes, as we had planned to start an Australian based Absinthe distributor, however that looks very unlikely at present, unless the food code is revised, or there is some other way to get around it.
If anyone has any info, please let me know. The green fairy should have an antipodean home, too.
