Foutains are not only rare but much too exspensive for the beginning absintheur to invest in. At auction they can go as cheap as 1000, although I have seen some other go for as much as 3500. There are however some very nice reproduction fountains for sale for around 500 bucks if you are interested. Otherwise, a glass and spoon should suffice.

I am not anywhere near the experience that I would be needing a fountain, but I was wondering, besides using your sink, is there anywhere to buy a reasonably priced fountain? How easy is it to make one? My goodies are in the mail! Can't wait till they arrive!
