Let's call the whole thing good! My order of La Bleue arrived Saturday morning & it was worth the wait! However, due to the fact that (in daylight) it louches a pearly white (or a very pale green in softer light), it should be called La Blanche. A peculiar thing about it is a minor battle going on between its bouquet & its taste. I can smell the anise but I can't seem to taste it. There is a mintiness to it (as Justin described it) but there's more going on than that. I'm still a Deva/Mari Mayans fan, but I can really appreciate the diverse difference between them & La Bleue, and I'm happy there's such a great alternative to Spanish absinthes other than (yech) Czech!
But what do you think?
