Rupert, go behind St. Louis Cathedral and check out the Pirate's Alley Cafe. At least they have Absente. Who knows, if you get lucky, mabye somebody will drop in with something more authentic.

WOW ! Artemis, you are right about "Bring a bag full of money". Went to Lucullus on saturday. 6 Absinthe Glasses for 895.00. There aren't 6 glasses anywhere worth that to me. Then to Jean Lafittes Old Absinthe House for a Herbsaint and water in a plastic cup.....8.00.
Damn, but I still ove New Orleans...and am here until wednesday.

I remember several months ago there was some chat about Antique Stores in New Orleans that carry some Absinthe related antiques. I'll be there for a business trip in May, and would like to check them out. Can someone Email, or post the names and addresses ?
