I can testify to this, also. The newer Segarra has a more tannic taste, and acrid smell.

last week over at joalco's house I poured a glass of segarra from his bottle. when I took the first sip I was totally surprised by the taste. it seemed to taste radically different from the flavor of my bottle.
this past tuesday we were able to compare the two side by side. I bought mine about a year ago, and Jon got his more recently. the lables are slightly different, but in my opinion, there is a noticable difference in the flavor of the contents.
to me, the newer sample tastes drier and has a distinct bitterness, where the older sample is sweeter and smoother tasting. I wonder if anybody else has noticed this.
