How was the show? A friend of mine was there and stealth taped it with a really nice setup. He says it came out great, but I haven't heard it yet.

I used to live in Denver, but I moved away before my musical tastes developed. As a kid, I saw two shows there (I'm not making this up): Peter, Paul, and Mary, and Ronnie James Dio with Twisted Sister opening up.

I've had some wonderful experiences at the Rocks. Bob Weir & Rob Wasserman, Michelle Shocked, and Bruce Cockburn was a great night. Another was Sting, although he can be too cheesy at times he played a great set, and it was the last time I got to see Kenny Kirkland before he died. I bet it will be a good time. I heard an NPR review of Mark's latest effort and it sounded pretty good (although the guitar solos were rather predictable). Have fun!

I've had many great experiences, but none of them had anything to do with Dire Straits.

I'm going to Red Rocks tomorrow to see Mark Knoplfer (Dire Straights). Anyone have any great experiences?
