yes, it's quite expensive, and quite good and I've been quite drinking it everyday since I got it... (I'm on my second bottle if that says anything... )

I read this thread sipping a glass of Betina's Le Bleue.

Fellow enthusiasts of La Fee Verte, I heartily endorse adding a bottle of Le Bleue to your collections. Yes, it is expensive. So is Very Fine Champagne and 25 year old Single Malt Scotch. Betina's Le Bleue may not be suited for everyday use, but we all have days which call for something a little special. This is it.

Given the many mindless posts on this forum, and
lets be frank, some of them are, having to do with
people wanting to add wormwood, or xerox copying
fluid to vodka so they can say they have tried
Absinthe, or at least went blind trying to try

having seen these posts, and the posts of people
who recommend Deva, or MM as the queen bee of

elegant, simple flavour that Swiss/french history
seemed to say Absinthe was), it was with some
trepidation that I mailed the oddly named Betina,

the swiss is amazing, (betina was/is no craxi-pot)
expensive in the extreme, but for what it is,
given its general unavalilability and its flavour
compared with the spanish paint thinner, well
worth it.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I received
my bleue a few days ago form Betina's. The bottle
arrived in excellent condition and was packed
remarkably well I must say. I don't think Godzilla
could have crushed this package!
Betina is truely the Empress of Elixirs!
