the most have a designe near genuine spoons, but there are inventions too.
Invention are the more dangerous for me, because if it isn't a fake and that i don't buy, i lost a good deal but if i buy a fake, i lost money...
Often this maker use the same metal and same technic of making, so now i have the good watch.
3 spoons invented (fakes) are referenced in the new MC Delahaye's book. (low and left of the picture)

I was a wee bit suspicious. I wondered how someone got their hands on so many les rondes. The fifth one along looks like a part from someone's car. Is that an authentic design?

Spoon Warning from Frenchman! he asked me to post this so I could make sure the picture was attached:
Chambergeau on Ebay
"Be carefull,
My idea, is that all spoons that Chambergeau is selling are fake !!
(please have a look on the picture below, i write "?" when i can't be sure
without to have these spoons in the hand).
I don't like to see dealers to sell fakes for genuine spoons, it is very very
bad for the antique market.
If you need Fake/modern spoons, buy spoons i am making or spoons made by
other makers.
BUY SPOONS SOLD LIKE MODERN SPOONS WITH A PRICE FOR A MODERN SPOONS !
Several french great french collectors and myself are stupefied by this sale.
This "goldsmith" or "antique dealer" don't respect a minimum of
deontologiem....
PhiL"
Thanks Phil!
