I ordered four bottles of Deva two weeks ago
and still haven't recieved them... this isn't like
SC since I order regularly from them so I'm
wondering if the jack booted thugs finally
looked in one of my little boxes... maybe they
got thirsty... any thoughts anyone? And yes, I
ordered two bottles of Segarra tonight so i
hope I'll have better luck with that...

Email mssg from SC (I'm sure many of you got it already, but I thought I'd post it anyway to add it to the collective knowledge base):

Dear friends,

I am sending this e-mail to you just to anounce you that we -finally- have the absinthe Julian Segarra available at our site. Up to now we were not granted enough availability and we prefered not to launch it. Now we have been promised some quantities, not too many, but we hope they will be enough. You can find it at:

Bob

I also have an uneducated absinthe pallete it seems as I like Sebor (a sure sign of an uneducated philistine). Deva can be taste a bit too strong in the Anise for me sometimes so Segarra sounds quite nice.

Enjoy your Segarra and I'll finish off my remaining drops of Deva, (my Spirits Corner order better turn up soon as after 2 more glasses of Deva I'm out of absinthe).

They just added it today. I don't have an educated absinthe palate, but I'd say that it is less anise flavored than Deva and overall nicely balanced. Maybe I should go drink some more now.

Damn,

I've just placed an order with Spirits Corner thinking I'd ordered every Absenta brand they have . It looks like I've missed off Segarra, (it doesn't appear on their website search under "Absenta"). What's it like anyway?

I don't know. I just heard that the proprietor headed to the beach for the weekend with a fistfull of yankee dollars.

You'll get them.

Looks like SC added Segarra to the lineup.

Five bottles would be just under $205.

btw--I have a question about SC (and it being past business hours there, I can't ask them): I placed a 10 bottle order recently and one package of 3 came today. What has anyone else's experience been with this sort of order--I mean, do I expect my other two tomorrow, should I have gotten all three today and now I'm screwed...What?

Thanks!
