First off, I'd like to thank Mr. Wormwood, Ted, and Kallisti for their most valuable contributions toward absinthe enlightenment.
Secondly, if it's not to much trouble, I humbly implore someone to test Bombay Sapphire. In light of its other varied ingredients (almonds, lemon peel, licorice, juniper berries, cubeb berries, orris, coriander, angelica, cassia bark, etc.), could its inclusion provide some insight into those quote unquote secondary effects? I ask this because I've always felt there was a tad 'more' to this gin. A friend of mine independently drew the same conclusion. If it is indeed thujone jejune (sorry, couldn't help it), this would give credence to the idea that this effect is due to a combination of herbs (in my mind, anyway)
This is just a hunch.
