You'd need a thujone standard, GC w/FID, carbowax column, and a copy of the appropriate method. Anything less will give meaningless results. You'd need to also run spiked samples to verify results, or you won't know what you are looking at.

Hello all. I'm new here so play nice.
Some people I know made a very nice absinthe (using a still, none of that wormwood and vodka crap) and I would like to test it for thujone levels. I was wondering if any of you chem. people here could point me in the right direction. I have a major research institution at my disposal, I just need to know who to go to.
