Belated congratulations Marc (& bride)
Have a drink at the Peppermill on me. I don't know how'd I pay for it since I'm in Michigan and you're in Nevada. But hey, it's the thought that counts, right?!

Several years ago, my father & I were walking down the street behind a Native American couple. I overheard the man telling the woman he'd been married 3 times, his father had been married 4 times & his grandfather had been married 5 times. I told my father, "I'm glad people still believe in marriage!"

I like to hear others out there are not interested in "blown-all-out-of-proportion" weddings. My wife and I got married in a roadside chapel in Baja Cali with no family or friends.
Of course we still had to suffer through a reception thrown by her parents when we got back to the states. uuuuuugghhh!
Congrats and best of luck to the both of you.

An excellent way to start a New Millenium, everyone should have a glass of the muse, in the couples honor.

Congratulations Marc, I wish you both every happiness. My wife had to wait 11 years to get hitched, you are a man after my own heart.

A fitting event for the passing of a millenium...gone the adamantine towers of Ilium, gone the hanging gardens of Nebechenzar, gone the might Pharoahs, gone Gilgamesh. gone Carthage, gone Athens and Rome, and now...Marc got married. Pretty soon he's going to take a job at the local nuclear power plant, grow bald and have a kid named Bart.
(I think I'll go out in the garden and eat some worms.)
Best of luck, you lovebirds!

Tonight I married my girlfriend of ten years, Jennifer. The ceremony took place at "Wee Kirk O'
The Heather" wedding chapel in Las Vegas. It's the oldest chapel in Sin City. The bride wore a lovely pair of faded jeans, a black turtleneck sweater and Blundstone shitkicker boots. The groom wore a black leather jacket, black pants and black Dan Post cowboy boots. The ceremony took
about 15 minutes. The minister, Dr. Abby Durham,
was resplendent in a pink dress and matching beehive hairdo. After the wedding, the newlyweds
promptly went to the nearest 7/11, played some joker poker and bought a $7 bottle of red wine to celebrate. It was the most romantic night of my life.
