Yeah, I got a reply from them today acknowledging my
order. The did receive the order twice but they have
already fixed it so I will be refunded for one of them.
They also promised another email confirmation when
my order actually ships. Yippee.

I am in love with Christina.

Don't ever feel bashful about emailing them...
they are really good about replies to queries
and such as well...

It never would have occurred to me not to put a URL to
SC in a forum message since it's readily available
elsewhere on the site... However, if that's an
established and accepted custom here I'll toe the line.
At least for now, what with me being a newcomer and
all.

I didn't have the patience to wait for a reply so I went
back and submitted another order. This time I got the
confirmation reply. Yippee.

This happened to me once. They sent me an email the next day telling me that I needed to re-submit my order, and that time it went through fine.

And, um, Morrigan, SC is linked to from all over the Buyers Guide. I don't think they're a secret. The only thing I've seen people worry about is revealing details of their shipping methods.

Make sure you click on the little British flag
button... that will take you to the English
language version. You should also get a
confirmation message when your cc
information is correctly recieved and then
within the next day, you'll get a confirmation
from SC as well... the service is really good.

Hey folks - let's continue to respect the "anonimity" of our revered SC by NOT mentioning them by full name or address with website links, shall we? (I got spanked for doing that once!)

You never know what nasty authority types may read this.

"why don't you try using their english page next time.

I didn't know they had an english version. Thanks.

"If the order was processed, you'll get confirmation by
email. The last thing you have to worry about is your
money taken and no goods delivered, because that will
definitely NOT happen with SC."

The only thing I'm worried about is whether or not my
order was received! My first purchase was a for a single
bottle and it lasted two days. I'm anxious to get some
more. I was only ordering two bottles - the first was for
New Years and I expect to be able to make two bottle
last a bit longer.

"I've only only had a few problems and that was
before they switched banks... now everything
is smooth, even a little quicker... helps having
a cable modem too!"

I'm on a cable modem and I have a pretty reliable and
fast conection. Maybe Saturday afternoon was just a
busy time.

The only problem is not knowing if the order went
through. I guess I can just make another one and if I
end up with two orders is that really worth complaining
about?

At least you got an error message. Connection attempt failed means exactly that. If the two computers aren't talking to each other, no amount of pushing the "pagar" button after that is going to help.

Problems with the payment page for SC are common, in fact, all too common. I think Federico announced here or in email a while back that they were changing to a different bank precisely because of all the problems. Don't know whether the new bank is in place or you're dealing with the old one.

Keep in mind you must allow cookies for it to work. What happened to you has happened to me many times. I've never experienced any solution that worked but to wait until another day when the whole thing is working.

If the order was processed, you'll get confirmation by email. The last thing you have to worry about is your money taken and no goods delivered, because that will definitely NOT happen with SC.

If you're ordering with a credit card, the "secret number" is irrelevant to your procedure and you should ignore it.

I just attempted to place an order from
www.spiritscorner.com. In spite of the fact that I don't
understand Spanish I thought everything was going
quite well until I got to the payment page. I entered my
credit card information and clicked the Pay button. I
then waited a long time while my browser waited for a
response. I eventually got a browser alert saying
"connection attempt failed." I then tried to click the Pay
button again only nothing happened.

Of course, I sent off an email to
info@spiritscorner.com
asking if the order was received but I'm wondering if
anyone else had had any trouble with this payment
system. What do you suppose the chances are that my
cc info was accepted and the charge processed?

I ran the text of the page through the a translator but
couldn't figure out what the secret number field was
for. It didn't look like it was required but I wasn't sure.

Can any of you regular customers of SC offer any
illuminating thoughts on the scenario?
