Another heavy duty Absinthe Cocktail:
Choker Cocktail (for 6 people)

4 Glasses Whiskey
2 Glasses Absinthe
1 Dash Absinthe Bitters

This cocktail is to be very thoroughly shaken and no sweetening of any form should be added.

Drink this and you can drink anything. New laid eggs put into it immediately become hard boiled.

"The Savoy Cocktail Book" written by a long term bartender at the Savoy in London in 1930, has many Absinthe Cocktail recipes. Most are real eye openers....i.e:
Bunny Hug Coctail:

1/3 gin
1/3 whiskey
1/3 Absinthe

Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.
This cocktail should be immediatley poured down sink before it is too late.
