It will be informal, but enjoyable, and I hope you all have a good time. Maybe we can arrange some organized duels between forum members. I will have a guest list, so you do not need to bring paperwork. There will be some small edibles.

TED I GOT YOUR EMAIL INVITATION

I will be there. All three of us. The rest of us are going to stay home and watch MILLER'S CROSSING over and over till we get back.

I really, really, look forward to tasting your tempting tongue tickling treat. I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it.

Hey Ted... are we supposed to bring that
confirmation email with us, or are you going to
have a 'guest list?' Just curious... oh, and
comestables too, what's going on with that...
sorry for being so nosey!

Like any organized function, I have to plan for a certain number of persons. If someone cannot find it in their conscience to extend me a small bit of courtesy (by advising of their desire to attend), how can they expect me to extend courtesy by accomadating them? Basically, my advice is intended to advise any lurkers who think they are going to just show up.

BTW, I've had worse come knocking at my window.

I'm going to take a picture of you Marc...

ted,

you sound so serious. Are you really expecting
a mob of party crashers? You're among friends here. Relax.

My tasting in New York was attended by almost
a hundred people. There were no problems. Absinthe tastings draw an extremely civilized crowd.

On the night of your tasting, if you see a maniacal looking longhair tapping on your window, it's me.

Well, I'm not going to let everyone use my
camera. Perhaps to keep sordid pics from
making it into the wrong hands, you could
have those of use who are shutter happy sign
disclaimers...

By Tabreaux on Saturday, January 20, 2001 - 12:52 pm: Edit

For personal use, yes.

Are cameras permitted?

By Tabreaux on Saturday, January 20, 2001 - 08:50 am: Edit

No.

Are any members of the media going to be
attending?

By Lowlight on Friday, January 19, 2001 - 11:16 am: Edit

Hmm guess not :)
