yeah I am rereading it and Starkie's to get some idea of continuity. His travels are so sporadic and there is so much apocryphal info on him it is hard to pin him down...

Unfortunately I can't help you, but I am assuming you've read the new biography on Rimbaud? Very intersesting. Great idea with the flask. Poured a few glasses from a flask at a darkened table up in Greenwich Connecticut this weekend.

For the Rimbaud experts out there:
Anyone know where to find a copy of Mathilde Verlaine's memoirs? I know they were written before 1910 and discuss her thoughts on Verlaine/Rimbaud's relationship.
Also does anyone have a french copy of the famous Verlaine quote on absinthe:
For me my glory is an

Going to get it engraved onto a flask of mine
