7. F.E. OPII DEOD.

See-thru honey amber glass (rare color), height 7 1/2" (without stopper), BIM, original ground stopper (that appears to be stuck), smooth base, pretty label with gold border and red trim stripe, OPII is Latin for Opium, bottle is near mint, label is very nice except for some minor chipping around the edges and a 1/2" hairline crack in the thin glass film over the label, this Apothecary Jar came from the William O. Poor Drug Store in Belfast, Maine, Founded in 1814. The bottle was in storage and untouched for almost 100 years. For Sale $200.

Anyone know where to find some of these? I have checked on e-bay and did the google thing and not come up with much. Am looking for a nice old Laudanum bottle or Morphine with a label if possible, if not that is fine as well.

Anyone know where to find one...perhaps there is a bottle collector or two on here...
