it's the difference between being a jealous informant and a good citizen... guess there aren't too many absinthe busts in switzerland, at least with those guys...although one well-known antique dealer may not have been at pontarlier because he crossed the border one too many times with antiques that had original contents...

I didn`t know where to put that link...sorry.

If you understand french go there and search for the word ''absinthe'' (because it`s a big page not related to absinthe but there`s just one very comic part...)

In short, it`s a swiss police page encouraging people to call the police when they are aware of an infraction. In an exemple, they more or less say call us if you saw someone breaking the jeweller`s window but don`t bother us with ''my neighbor distill absinthe in his garage.'' LOL

Hey thats fab! Being too damn busy to convert the French text I didn't actually READ any of it (yet), but the fountain picture is enviously gorgeous, and I love that they included a (doctored) Tintin cartoon!!

I just found this little perso. page talking about absinthe Lanquetin. This distillery was sold to Pernod in 1912, M Georges Lanquetin was lucky or very intuitive !

Some pictures and french text...
