I have it on very good authority that these very same treats were enjoyed by the more discriminating absinthe drinkers in the cafes of France in the late 19th century. Unfortunately, vegetarians have had to forego these wonderful treasures of haut cuisine... until now. Just place some on a vintage Rice Crispy plate, pour yourself a glass of your favorite poison, and you'll be instantly transported to better times. Enjoy!
Vegetarian Rice Crispies Treats:
3 Tbsp butter
1 Jar (7 oz.) Kraft Jet Puffed Marshmallow Cream
6 Cups Rice Crispies Cereal
The Marshmallow Cream doesn't have gelatin like Marshmallows do. Help, I can't stop eating them!
