Ojen is a very pretty village in Andalusia about 8 km from Marbella. The original distillery is now a wine museum.

Yeah, it is very sweet. But I think there's something a little different about it. It's a fun drink with water and Peychaud -- a Pink Chemise.

I remember it as being a sickly sweet, syrupy anisette.

Who knows anything about Ojen?
It has strong anise flavor and a great louche.
Can anybody offer any speculation as to what's in there?
Anybody care for it?
