I was unable to find a thread in which to post this . I am very bad with math due to some childhood problems in grade school That I would rather not get into .

Point of this post I thought the bottle of Absinthe Antitoxin - 50cl . That I received would be slightly Larger than What It was.
I am not complaining It was exactly as advertised . With the strength of the alcohol is more than enough liquid in the bottle to meet my needs . However for the sake of clarity for anybody who might be slightly numerically challenged I present the following pictures of my bottle of Absinthe Antitoxin - 50cl so that one would have a better idea of the size and volume of the product. Please note the bottle has been opened and part of it used . I just took it out of the freezer for these volume reference pictures.

I wouldn't expect quality from anything which looks like that or which comes in that kind of bottle.

Even then, why would you put a bottle of absinthe in the freezer? It is a good way to separate out the anise which is probably coating the inside of your bottle with a waxy film.

Better to toss it and buy some decent absinthe. See the buyers guide or just get some Pacifique -- and don't put it in the freezer!

This isn't a math challenge.

Like a partner in a marriage who had been blind to the to the fact that they had been abuseive towards their spouse. You have made me see the light I thank you for educating me sir. Is their anything else I need to know with regards to the proper temperature for storage of absinthe ? Do different absinthes need diff rent storage and serving temperatures for ideal taste ? Are they all the same Is their is some standard serving temperature . Is their some type of special absinthe thermometer. That I might purchase that can tell me If my glass of absinthe has reached it's Ideal serving temperature please educate me I want to know more . ? Oh and thanks for the suggestion about the Pacifique

Best just to store in at room temperature and prepare by slowly adding cold water. This is true of all anise based liquors.

Or any booze…
If you are keeping it in the freezer or refrigerator, you are drinking the wrong booze.
It really is just that simple.

And if you store the right booze the right way (at room temp) but drop a bunch of ice cubes into it to drink it, you have the wrong priorities.

Oh, gawd, yes!
No dilution and no chilling.
I believe if the man put it in the bottle at 119.8 proof, then that is the way it should be taken.

If you need something cold then make a cocktail.
A little ice helps to blend the flavors and it will warm up enough to taste as you drink it.

…as it waters itself down, and rapidly leaves the ideal temperature behind. Straight likker ain't supposed to be enjoyed after a long jog in the sun as a refreshing beverage.
