QUOTE(hartsmar @ Mar 10 2007, 11:07 AM) *

Just to let you all know, I have seen them and I will update everything.
I've been knocked out all week by a serious flu with a fever top of 41°C. Not very amusing.
I'm back up but definitely not back in shape. Being a man it's my obligation to act like I'm dying when I'm sick, so I've done just that and I still am.

Make it 45°, that's the name when chicken soup is called for, whereas one glass (50 ml) of slivovitz at 78% serves your health better abs-cheers.gif

Kirk, that's not something you can hope people here to agree with.

Lucid

The first absinthe you can buy in a liquor store in America

Editor's note: Review of Lucid Absinthe Superieure is merged into its own review thread in the Buyer's Guide Forum here and in the main Buyer's Guide here.

Thanks, 2D.
After all this time, it's
true, and the 1st one
on these here shores
appears to be at the
very least, decent.

And not crazy priced,
either.

I'm pleasantly surprised.

Now, more importantly,
will I be able to buy it
off the shelf here before
I leave this xithole?

Doubt it.

It's almost worth a trip to the city.
Almost...

I'm impressed by your review and look forward to sucking down a few bottles. At $65+- for 750ml of a 62% alcohol absinthe, I think it's a bargain.

Too bad the bottle looks so juvenile.
I guess you can't have everything.

I'll be placing an order at the local ABC. They are good about ordering requests and have a better selection than other ABCs in the area. Let's do what we can to get it on the shelves! I look forward to trying it.
