I'm really looking forward to trying the St. George based on the reviews, hopefully they'll be able to ratchet up production so that we can get some here on the East Coast.

I also noticed there was only one other recent review of Kubler so I figured I'd throw mine into the mix:

Being a fellow Aussie (though not for much longer) I figured I should chime in with a review of the new 'Moulin Rooz', which despite its embarrassingly awful name, is quite drinkable.

Absinthe Review: Moulin Rooz
By Tristan

Editor's note: Full review merged into its own review thread here and into the Buyer's Guide here.

Drinkers in Australia should note that a 75cl bottle of this, with shipping, costs about $70AU, which makes it comparable in price to Doubs or Staroplenski. Whilst it might be a bit of an indulgence for our Euro or US members, for the Australians here it definitely leads the pack in the bang-for-buck category.

You amateur wankers only ask for pics? What about video? Put that shit on a webcam, then it's good for much longer…

How did you even get that Mthuilli? I've never heard of Grande Distillerie Lyonnaise. Do you have a pic of the bottle or know anything about the makers?

Guess who got that wonderful bottle?
I think he has started collecting absinthe stuff recently and he is based in UK.

Yep, the color and the louche specially captured my eyes.

Next on my list is Jules Pernod.

That's better, sounds like a truly great absinthe -- especially the flowery angelica which is heavenly when done right. A flavor too neglected in moder COs -- thus far.

Anyone got kleenex?

I'd agree w/that
'bout the angelic
properties of proper
angelica use.

Time for COs to make some nice Lyonnaises.
One (Duplais) Lyonnaise with A.a.
One (Brevans) Lyonnaise with A.p.
Would be interesting indeed.

The color looks identical to how the Dornier-Tuller looked. Almost peachy-amber.
